I was born and raised in Wuppertal / Bergisches Land. Since I was young I have had on obscure longing for Canada . By car I went through Northern America several times. But my view on the world completely changed by the first heavily-packed bike – tour. To fight the elements 24 hours a day, the daily allure of being on the road without any ties, being far away from the regulated German way of life and the daily routine is my motivation to be on the road. From May 2016 after working almost for 49 years I will have an unbelievable amount of free time. My best choice would be to spend spring in Tasmania, summer in Canada, live in Utah in fall and spend the winter in Australia again. I think I will do all this sometime in future!
